Do you not know the difference between consensual sex and sexual assault?

Can you read?
The reporter asked if the sex was consenual
He replied "I'm not saying that"
So if hes not saying they she consented to sex, how did his DNA get in her panties?
If she did not give consent, its an assault. Actually battery.

I'm not reading all 48 pages. I'm hopeful that the victim is getting some support. Both parties deserve equal support, but I sense that the superstar is getting a pass. If he raped this girl, is it more important that he's charged before or after the season?
I know it's important that FSU finishes strong. I only hope the victim, if proven to be a true victim, receives justice.
If Jameis was a typical criminal would he get protection from local police? Would the police tell the victim to "just let it go" if Jameis was a nobody?
Looking forward to the outcome. And I hope our justice system doesn't fail the victim or Jameis.

Oh, I was hoping you would say that. So, Jansen is trying to win the battle in the court of public opinion by saying that his client had nonconsensual sex???
It's a bold strategy Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for him.

League champs has shown how important having a legal system is. He has truly shown me how scary the mob mentality can be

Biggest lol yet
Because their isnt a mob on here trying to say that a man with his DNA in a womans panties, police photos of her injuries, and his own lawyer not confirming that the sex was consenual, is wanting it to just go away
He should be arrested and let the courts decide, just like every other man in this same predicament. Thats not mob mentality

I think I'm thankful for a legal system, too.

When it comes to high profile athlete cases prove me wrong. I also said my first thought. First. Thought. I have said multiple things in this thread that both make the accuser and accused look bad.

I think the quote speaks for itself. I can understand you wanting to distance yourself from it at this point.

There is no link I can post on here that doesn't have the accuser's name on it. You'll have to look that one up yourself.

I have said for a while now that this will most probably be the end result. I just find it strange that with DNA confirmation and access to police and medical reports (to confirm if bruises, etc. was found on the night of the accuser) Meggs has not charged Winston yet.
Maybe I'm wrong but DNA confirmation + physical signs of rape (bruises, etc) = Immediate arrest

Question.... Do you have any proof of the percentages?? Because I think you may be wrong with the whole percentage thing.
Posted on 11/22/13 at 10:38 pm to TC16
Eh. It's been just a week. In a case as high-profile as this, they're dotting i's and crossing t's (he said hopefully). I think, especially given that the investigation was stalled out (for whatever reason), a couple of weeks isn't really moving slowly.

This is more important than a football game.
