More or less. I don't hunt. I just cook and drink. My office is the kitchen.

Saturday dinner.

First up we had tuna nachos on homemade chips. Second was chicken satay with a thai peanut sauce. Third was shrimp dumplings with a sweet chile sauce. Fourth was grilled lamb loin on a bed of sweet potato risotto. Fifth was a slice of rum cake, doberge cake piece with homemade whip cream.

I really think the title of these threads should be changed to "Hunting Resort Cooking".

That is no camp. People who hunt at a "camp" would string up a guy who had the nerve to cook something with "Thai peanut sauce". I'm not even going to mention what "camp hunters" would think about being served brunch.

Aside from that, that food looks amazing.

Fine job Ham.

We had fried trout and oysters and white beans last night on some Dixie plates. No pics.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that meal, balls. Trout is probably my favorite fish.

Maybe it's because I'm from Bunkie and all the people don't think they can take me, so they haven't strung me up yet.

Or they don't want to string us up because they know they'd never get Thai peanut sauce at the camp again if they do.

Either way, it seemed to be a huge hit.

Ya guys should serve them some of these for lunch today. Just to bring their arse back to reality. Make sure that they are aware of the magnitude of the camp feast that they receiving.

By the way...are these guys your friends that you are cooking for? Or are they customers? For some reason I was under the impression that they were your friends/you were part of their group? If they are customers scratch the vinnies and keep on wow'ing them.
