if it's the Carter's in Albany, hello neighbor there's a girl in there that says she's a Bama fan, I think she's never seen a football game in her life

I've never been a fan of theirs and never will,
good we don't want you or need you assclown.

Too many years of losing for me to just jump on that bandwagon.
maybe if you had been a fan from the beginning you would not have these insecurity issues.

Some people just love a winner.
They are not so much a fan of UA (or UF/Tebow, or whoever is hot) so much as the a fan of the warm fuzzy success generates, and attaching yourself to it. It's pretty common, and more common in certain areas.

I rather be castrated then ever say "Roll Tide".

Bandwagoners. Same people were cheering for Florida when Tebow was there and USC and Miami before that. These people are probably all ULL fans.
THIS
Or Tulane fans

it pisses me off

I agree. Especially the New Orleans area. They really dislike LSU in NOLA.

Saw 2 vehicles today in Baton Rouge with Alabama flags and bumper stickers

Was just thinking about this. It's funny how all of the t shirts etc. are clearly brand new and generic. It's pretty easy to tell which ones are real fans.

Most are the Yankee fans of CFB

Growing number of Alabama fans in Louisiana

Dallas Cowboys fans. It's like all of the sudden Alabama is Americas team.

Anyone else notice this trend?
YES.
They didn't go to Bama, have never lived there, don't have kids there - they have no connections to Bama at all - except they are BANDWAGONNERS. They are ALL OVER New Orleans. They are the worst kind of football fan. I sincerely wish they'd get out of my city.
Posted on 11/11/13 at 12:27 pm to SpidermanTUba
Yeah I agree with that about NOLA. I see so many around the city. It's mind boggling

Why don't you stop with your stupid nonsensical generalizations about New Orleans and LSU. There are thousands of LSU fans there. Go see what team apparel dominates the sporting goods stores in the Greater N.O. area.
Most people from New Orleans and Metairie that attended college went to LSU.
I grew up there and only know very few Tulane grads. This isn't the 1960's.
Things shifted starting in the 1970's and of course LSU support exploded in the last 13 years among everybody.
