I will admit I had pom poms on my car from Tuscaloosa till Miss so I could speed and not get ticketed. Was going 100 the whole damn time.
Frick the gumps in LA. What a joke.

There were a lot of Miami fans in La in the late 80's, early 90's.

There's a Bama flag in my neighborhood. I'm going to take it down one night and hang upside down. We also have an Aubie; maybe he'll help.

Hoe many 'Bulls23' jerseys did they sell all around the country during Jordan's run?
Now it's Miami Heat and Alabama...nothing new here- people w/ low self-esteem switch to winning teams all the time. We know why.

Well, in the LP there's also that sour-grapes hatred for "educashun", so they're anti-LSU to begin with...remember, dem professas is all librahls, for God's sake.

Nuff said I mean C'mon that's like trying to compare Miami with the rest of Florida. Something has always been off about the people from Livingston Parish

If you want to see a special case of this kind of thing, just stay over here in Alabama for about six months.
I know that's a daunting thought, but the following will give you an example.
When Auburn won the national championship in 2010 with Cam Newton, this family business that I patronize suddenly presented their customers with funny, rather limp tiger tails, protruding (falling?) out of the trunks of their two vehicles, one tail per vehicle, parked out front in their parking lot.
After a year or two those tails finally disappeared.
Then, when Auburn beat Texas A&M a week or two ago, suddenly those two tails reappeared, and are once again hanging limply from the trunks of those two vehicles. They are a little more worn out looking and dingy, flatter, and more limp -- but there they are, just like clockwork.

quote:right, because you were down here for a game in which Bama played, so you know the exact breakdown of non LSU fans in the city. Nevermind the thoughts of the people who have lived in NOLA their whole lives, you probably know more then they do.
No, it's not. Maybe 60%

Is it strictly bandwagon, or did a massive amount of people relocate from Alabama to Louisiana?
The high majority of those people aren't real fans. They just see that everyone likes LSU and that Bama is doing better as of late and for whatever reason think cheering for Bama will get them some attention. When LSU was awful in the 90s a lot of people were Bama fans too in La.

Funny, they all have the same taste in wardrobe. Dirty, severely worn jeans muddy boots , severely faded and worn plad shirt. And they smell of tobacco... Pungent odor

Thats some dumb arse logic.. So they hate the Louisiana State UNIVERSITY but like the UNIVERSITY of Alabama.. Because they hate "educashun" despite having the what #2 or #3 school district in the state.

This. LA seems to have lots of bandwagon fanboys. Go to a Pelicans game and watch how many folks show up in Lakers or Heat gear.

I agree. Since ULL has become (relatively) respectable in football, they seem to get more and more and more bitter with LSU. Make no mistake about it, they believe they can compete with the Tigers and wonder if the Tigers can compete with them.
They are also aware of our distaste for Saint Nicky, and now people who didnt give a damn about the Tide 5 years ago were rooting for them this past weekend just to gig the Tiger fans. It makes me want to scream "Grow up"!

I think it has to do with 45% of his players aren't from bama and the other 65% jumps on the band wagon. His team consist of a lot of players from LA.

LSU has a nation wide fan base, of which I'm part. Alabama fans who live in Louisiana can blow me. Though its a bit of a drive.

My brother was in New Orleans over the weekend. Saw a man and woman decked out in LSU gear at a streetcar stop on Saturday afternoon. Said to them, "Let's wreck their season tonight." The woman said, "Awww, I kind of like Alabama."
My brother turned their back on them. That's what all of us should do to these kinds of fans.

front running bandwagon losers are everywhere

They're trolls. They're probably Red Sox fans the day after the team wins the World Series. They probably also root for the Heat. When the Yankees get hot again, they'll be breaking out the Jeter jerseys.
