What is your opinion of our best lineup of players who have a realistic shot at making the trip? Players have to be in the pool right now and have to play the position either in their league or for the MNT. This is just my uneducated opinion. Don't kill me.

-----------------Jozy----------------

----Zusi-------Dempsey-------Donovan--

-----------Jones--------Bradley------

F.Johnson---Besler---Gonzo----Cameron

-----------------Timmy----------------

Bench:
Guzan
Mix

Orozco?
Bedoya?
Brek?

Mix is playing at a higher level than dempsey right now...i think if he continues his current trend and dempsey doesnt right the ship with the sounders...i think we see a jones, Bradley, Diskerud trio in the middle...which i would be fine with

I think when we play our seeded team in the WC we start Johnson at LB but depending on the draw i think we start FJ at LM for the easier oppenents, not that anyone is a cakewalk in the WC

I may be alone here, but I kind of like Cameron as a defensive mid over Jones. It was only one game, but I liked the pairing with Bradley against Panama. Cameron is more of a disruptor, which allows Bradley to go forward. Oh yeah, this also happened while he was playing there:

I don't think we call up Shea. I don't think he has played for the first team at Stoke all season and when has he played for the national team last, the Gold Cup?

Can't see Edu on the team. I think Bedoya has a shot and Brooks will make the 23.

I like your line-up, though I might switch Landon and Zusi - mostly because I'll want Landon to drift inside and Johnson is much better and going forward and providing width than Cameron is.

But I think Jurgen has clearly made Johnson his LM and not his LB, as much as that makes me unhappy.

as a Houston homer I wish Davis could find his way into the lineup somehow, but I know it won't happen. Dude just hustles and has great delivery

I don't see either heading out there. Shea hasn't done jack shite recently for Stoke outside of piss people off. Jurgen doesn't even know who Edu is and keeps referring to him as "that kid from the Disney commercials" behind closed doors. Freddy Adu isn't that offended, though.

Rimando'll be there, too.

If our opponent has a quick , smaller type right winger then Beasley gets the nod , if our opponent has a lot of big sturdy type right wingers F.J. gets the nod.
