I've over indulged in many things in my life over the years but Gambling is not one of them as I like to hold onto my money too much but where can a Brotha get a bookie cuz I would take that action for 4 figures. All Homerism falls away when my money is at stake.

Alabama hasn't beaten LSU by double digit points at Bryant Denny Stadium since 1990.
In fact, only once since 1990 has Bama beaten LSU by more than 7 points - they won by 9 in 2009. And that was Peterson-gate when they took Peterson's clear interception away in the 4th quarter down by only 6 (our starting QB and RB - Jefferson and Scott - were knocked out of the game early in the 2nd half as well. Even in that game, LSU led in the 4th quarter.
So if you're betting looking at the recent history, it would seem smart to bet on LSU if that spread is accurate.

Gamblers will go heavily toward Bama at home.
The home field advantage in the LSU-Bama series is clearly flipped. Does Vegas not know this or not care?

Yet we're a 7 pt fav over Ole Miss.

That's awesome! So when we win by double digits we will move up to #3 in the polls or higher....

Graduated from LSU in 99, moved back to Mobile, Alabama with my parents after graduating. Couldn't find a job, so waited tables in the meantime at Ruby Tuesday's. Sheridan came in a lot and I waited on him most of the time. I have a degree in Mass Communications. Asked him one day for his advice on how to break into the tv industry. He told me, "you have to lie a lot." Ok, thanks Danny.
He always came in with the guy that called Saturday Nights games on ESPN with Ron Franklin. Who was that guy?? Can't think of his name. Driving me crazy.

Pretty sure he had a stroke at some point.

i dont see how this is possible and i really do not see how bama hasnt slipped to #2 in poles... there offense did not score at all first half against ole miss....yes there defense held ole miss to 0 points but that is because ole miss went for touchdowns instead of field goals...i just dont think they are that good IMO...

Could not care less. Have to play the game. And I am liking our chances to win straight up.

It was -11 prior to season, so only down one point. It will be 9-10 at kickoff.

I would lay a cool $300 on us covering 10 points

If the perception of both team stays constant, LSU beats Ole Miss, Alabama continues to win, we'll see if he is correct.
I don't expect anything to change. And, I don't think the line opens up at 10. I think gamblers will see LSU +10 as a pretty attractive option and the line makers know this.
The line will be closer to 8, IMO.

Knock ya'll-selves out with the below chart on all your upcoming and fantasy matchups...
This is how vegas figures the number. I get the update every week.
BTW... we would be a 11 point underdog to Oregon on a neutral field

Danny Sheridan is a drug addict.

Who listens to that drunk, he jumped the shark, on Finebawm, what a clown.
Doesn't matter anyway as they aren't trying to pick the score just balance the money. I'm sure more money would come in on Bama than the Tigers right now don't you think?

...and to give you guys an idea of how the number changes each week. LSU was a -3 in Week 1. Alabama was a -13. Adding the HFV, LSU would of been a 13pt underdog in week 1 compared to this week's update of a 10pt underdog.
While Alabama's Rating has increased to -18 their HFV number has dropped to just 1 point.
