What does that even mean? My team sucks donkey cocks. All I'm saying is I got a thousand bucks that the ducks don't win the bcs.

I think if they played during the season Oregon would beat Bama. The problem for Oregon is the long layoff before the title game, Nick Saban will have 30+ days to prepare for them. I would put my money on Bama.

Taking that bet is stupid. Any team at this point has less 50% odds. A fair bet would mean you pay $1000 and the odds on Oregon should be at like $250.

Whelp Stanford's NC hopes are likely dashed. They can salvage the season by beating Oregon.

The only reason I would give Oregon a chance is Marcus Mariota. However, he has to make it through our schedule without getting hurt. Our schedule for the remainder of the year is tough as hell.

It's the same old song and dance with the PAC 12. Always hyped, always shite the bed. History has proven this, and until that changes you west coast folks should just settle the frick down until you win something of relavance.

ok it was 340. They outgained LSU by a decent margin, and that was the best LSU team in years, and the weakest Oregon team in the last 4 years.

Didn't realize yardage determined who wins? If I recall, LSU won by double digits and played on a short field most of the game due to a dominating defensive and special teams effort.

It's the same story with Oregon every year. I'll give them credit when they finally do something.

BTW - I couldn't even watch that game today with those ugly f*cking uniforms, I mean outfits. They were awful.

Yup Oregon is great but historically they haven't peaked in winter. Bama is usually better than ever at that point and it suits their style more having a month off before the game.

Curious to see what Washington does the rest of this season, I don't know if you are looking at a 9, 10 win team or a 5 loss team.

Yeah, because they haven't done something.

Well they tried to come back late, but LSU killed that discussion for most of 2011.

Full of shite. I was at the Washington game. Washington didn't use their A-A TE ASJ correctly....the middle of the field was wide open all game.

Washington is not fundamentally sound. Missed tackles all day. on the 40+ yd run. Washington had the guy in the backfield but tackled themselves.

Oregon has holes. This impressive talk is false. Could the win out sure. Could the win the BCS maybe. I think it's unlikely but they have as many holes as everyone else.

Washington, use the high tempo O but if you're going 3-out . . .why use it...its awful for you

New HC, and better talent all the way around. This Oregon team is much stronger and deeper than the ones that played Auburn and LSU

Oregon has a vertical passing game. Darron was a good decision maker but he was limited.

Yet somehow a one-loss Georgia team that almost lost to terrible Tennessee was somehow still in the NC hunt. Depth was the reason the Ducks struggled in 2007, 2009 and even 2010 to some extent. They now have the depth to compete and persevere.

And they haven't won the big one, but I've been loving the four years of BCS bowls, even when we lost.

What have they done other than shite the bed with all of Nike's money? I guess you guys count those moral victories?

In case you haven't noticed, I have no respect for Oregon. You can chalk that up to the time I spent in Eugene.

No...but I do count BCS bowl wins as something. We have two of those in the past two years. Shitting the bed is a little overstated.

This one from the Bama 247 board literally in the same thread illustrates my point:

quote:

(5 hours ago) "Just like I told you, Oregon can't handle it when a team when gets physical with them. Washington wins I guarantee it."

(3 hours later) "Whatever, they beat a crappy Washington team. Not impressed."

We get credit for nothing. Oregon would have to be perfect and lamblast Bama and you'd probably find some excuse anyway.

Because I have no respect for Oregon and the gimmicks. That about sums it up.

You are a fricking dumbass. Oregon has had two 1-loss seasons with losses to good teams in the past 3 years (one NC appearance), the same as LSU and Bama. The difference is you guys get the benefit of the doubt to play in the BCS NC after you guys shite the bed and instead we have to beat up on Kansas State.

It's fair to say we need to prove something but quit with this "haven't done shite" nonsense for our 1-loss when Bama chokes as well but gets a re-do.
