found this interesting
Cowboys are 10th w/ $209 average
After reading the other thread about Lester Garrick showing his distaste with some dead baseball player's stance that NO shouldn't own a team, this article really struck as relevent. I do question this article though in that it never states if PSL's are factored into these prices. We (for now... until the tryke RBL takes over *shudder*) do not have PSL's, and that makes owning season tickets more burdonsome for other cities (NY).

6. New Orleans Saints
Average ticket price: $225.30
Stadium: Mercedes-Benz Superdome
Super Bowls in past 10 years: 1
Average home attendance (2012): 72,888 (7th highest)
The New Orleans Saints were embroiled in a controversy last year when the NFL found the team operated a bounty system that paid defense players to injure members of the opposing team. Head Coach Sean Payton and several other staff members were banned from playing in the NFL last season. That year, ticket prices took a dip, falling from the seventh most expensive on average to the 11th most expensive. Even with the blow to their PR, the Saints are still one of the most popular teams in football. And with Payton and the rest of the 2008 Super Bowl winning staff back, 2013 tickets to games at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome rose to average sixth highest in the NFL. At left, a Saints fan celebrates outside the Superdome.

Probably because all those bunker club tickets shot up to like $295 a pop.
Club level is still $150

cowboys are probably artificially low because they have like 20k standing room tickets.

I am quite sure that seat licensing fees are not part of this study.
The Saints have a really low ticket price structure vs most of the NFL.

it annoys me that our secondary market is higher than teams even in big markets based on stubhub... okay i get that the saints are good now but we just don't have the economic base and jobs to support having to pay $200 just to get in the dome for the cowboys game and $100 for every other team

Right now the Saints are at 9th in the league at home and they will be somewhere around these numbers every year. The Superdome is the 10th largest stadium (capacity wise) in the league (if you count NY Giants and the Jets separately).

PSL is a one time payment so I doubt its in there.
And is it possible for the state owned dome to do that? I don't think it is. Unless I get my seat for the sugar bowl, concerts, mnc, etc correct?

I don't know where they get their info from. I would like to see how they get to those number. The dome only has 40 sections that are over that amount. There are 52 sections in just the terrace, and the most those tickets run are $82.00. You can't even get SRO Cowboys tickets for $25.00 as season tickets. The numbers just seem off to me.

If we had psl's I think we would be sol. Big reason why Renovating the dome was the way to go. Only corporations can afford psl's similar to what Dallas and ny charges.
