I know I'm biased but GoT and BB have been screwed over.

Claire deserved it. Also wanted Robin Wright to win too as well as the girl from Mad Men. Such great competition nowadays.

I think mistake #1 with GoT was that the showrunners nominated/submitted Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage names for the awards....Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Michelle Fairley deserved the nominations over those two for season 3.

The standing ovation for Bob Newhart was very cool.

I agree. Emilia Clarke is a fan favorite, so is her character. But if we're being honest, she does the least amount of acting on the show.

I was surprised when she was nominated.

And next year, D&D better not submit Emilia and Peter again. Hard to say who will be nominated next year, because season 4 is going to be amazing. I could see Pedro Pascal being nominated for one.

I agree with Nikolaj. But my hate for Kaitlyn is so great I couldn't even pull for Fairley if she was nominated.

Oh, and good to see Colbert Report win.

Primetime dramas on basic cable will never win again.

I never liked Catelyn either but Michelle nailed the her part in the RW. Nikolaj was, to me, the best actor this whole season and should've been nominated. That bath scene in Episode 5 sealed it for me; it was one of the best scenes on the show and a truly great character building moment.

Breaking Bad hasn't won as many awards as I expected either. Aaron Paul AND Bryan Cranston...c'mon man. Must be a bunch of politicking and butt-kissing behind the scenes. And now that Jane Fonda is on the The Newsroom, there's no way I'll ever attempt to rewatch it. I'm no Rush Limbaugh or Anne Coulter but The Newsroom was so liberally biased I couldn't watch it.
