In your own opinion, who would be the better head coach after they retired if they both chose to go that route. Both of their football IQ's are off the charts. I'd really like to know what you all think. And

Brees. Manning is a doofus.

Has a great player ever made a great coach? I'm not convinced that either would be any good.

I feel like Brees has better leadership qualities, Peyton could probably be one of the best OC ever though if it ever happened.

Peyton is going into TV -- he'll succeed Terry Bradshaw as the "More fleas than a hound dog in tall cotton" guy

This. Except Peyton's comedic timing is almost perfect. He'll get the biggest TV contract if he wants it.

I dont think either one would be a good coach tbh
Both are so great they would probably get easily frustrated when they work with a guy less talented

This. Brees will run for Mayor/Congress within a few years of retiring and win in a landslide.

Mannig would be a gm.
Brees a pass happy oc.

Luke Mccown is the correct answer

Peyton is a genius and he can't teach what he sees. He would wind up being a douche to his QB. The offensive Mike Singletary.
Brees would be a great motivational speaker. As a head coach? Meh.

Neither. Great players typically don't turn out the very good coaches. If I had to pick one though, I would definitely say Manning. His family has run the passing academy for years, so he knows the basics of how to run a practice.

definitely say Manning

You're probably right.
Peyton Manning's future is in broadcasting. He just has too good of a TV personality.
Drew could run for Gov. and win in a landslide. Like others have said, I could see him sticking around and getting into politics.

I don't see Drew Brees going into politics either. Somebody's going to bring up his mom.
But seriously, outside of Jim Harbaugh and Leslie Frazier, are any other NFL head coaches recognizable NFL players? Most of them are 3rd string QBs or the son of former NFL coaches.
