Mills is our best corner. White is 2nd. Haven't seen enough of Robinson yet.

Collins and particularly Mills are solid CB's but White and Robinson have the potiential to be elite. It's just potiential at this point so Mills will be the starter until Robinson can get up to speed. He just got on campus a few weeks ago.

I remember one play last year by the other team where Collins blew by Mills chasing the receiver. Collins is not slow.

Didn't Collins run a sub 4 second shuttle?

I think right now, it's White and Mills. By the end of the year, I could definitely see it being White and RR. RR is a specimen, but I'd be hard-pressed to say that he's better than Mills after being on campus 3 weeks and seeing playing time in the 3rd and 4th quarters of blow outs.

White is possibly ready to start. He has at least shown he can hit like a safety in run support. Really like what he showed last game. An early bloomer in addition to elite athleticism.

Robinson is rumored to have PP7 level athleticism, if such a thing is possible. He didn't do nearly as much as White with his few snaps later in the game. Probably just needs some time for the light to come on. PP7 himself did not start right away as a freshman.

So to answer the OP's question. Yes, I believe that White and Robinson are probably more athletic than the Jalens, and we will know over the next few games if they are able to translate this to the field.

It's not like the Jalens are turrible though. Seems like everyone assumes they are uncoachable and need to be kicked off the team.

At this point Collins looks lost.

Mills is just as physical as anyone. Maybe his bump and run can use work, but I like Mills.

Mills is solid. i think he's being unfairly lumped in with Collins.

evans is a mismatch for anyone. 6"5" 225 don't grow on trees.

IMO you need to dedicate someone to Evans vs. just matching him up based on where he is and what scheme you're in. I'd rather let Mills and White stay in the scheme, so to speak. If RR's cover skills and speed are as good as advertised, and you have about 8 more weeks to develop, then he may be the better option from an overall defense point of view. No one is going to matchup with Evans physically, so the goal is just stick to him during the route as much as possible.
