That Bay Tobacco is a good store. I got some Yazoo Beers when I was there around July 4th. The grocery store on the main highway in Waveland, Claiborne Hill, sells growlers of Crooked Letter.

Fooglers? I skipped them to head to Pirate Bay although they didn't have Yazoo Beer when I went, I bought Devils Harvest and Bear Sweat Oatmeal stout instead

If you head out to the Coast again, go to Government Street Grocery in Ocean Springs. It has a vibe there like Chelsea's Cafe, but the food is better and they have a better beer selection -- they have Crooked Letter Mystery Romp on tap and that is a damn good beer.
After football season ends, I want to go back there and tour the Crooked Letter Brewery. We hit Lazy Magnolia already.

Thanks for the info.

I'll be on the coast for a week at the beginning of October. I'll probably stop at a few of the places mentioned before heading to BR.

Gonna hit up Crooked Letter on the 1st for a tour. And try to do Lazy magnolia either Thursday or Friday.

e thought about touring Crooked Letter but guys who came on Lazy Magnolia said they had been on Friday and it was nothing special. Sampled a few beers and that was it, so we decided to skip and do some shopping along the coast

I'll have a lot of time to kill while in MS so I'll do both. Been to Abita more times than I count.

Gonna hit up Parish one night for Cask night, just don't have a free Saturday while I'm in LA to do the tour.

Just moved to Baton Rouge from the coast... Indian Summer is a good summer time beer. Good on tap as well. Southern Pecan isn't bad, I like it better than the abita pecan. I've had some of their special runs that they do... usually are pretty tasty, they tend to have them at the festivals along the coast. can sometimes get some casked stuff there as well.

Ocean Springs is 80 miles from Kiln so you are looking at an hour drive from one to another just remember that

Ah alright
Lazy Magnolia tour we showed up around 12:30 and they didn't have a tour started so they started with us, it lasted 45 minutes (they say an hour on website) and Crooked Letter says their tour last 30 minutes.

This Saturday I plan on going to Parish and I will have pictures of that one as well

Parish has a great tap room. You get two free beers and they sell growlers and bottles out of there. Andrew is a good guy and he really knows his stuff. They've got a couple of TVs in there and food trucks are posted up outside. If we lived in LFT, that would probably be a regular spot.

They used to make a beer (~7-8 years ago) called Blue Heron that was one of the best beers ever.
