Not all of us drive trucks. GM just revealed its new large SUVs this week.

Both are fugly. GM finally stepped up their game in the past year with the interiors but the exteriors are even worse than before, which is a difficult feat.

Kinda looks like a schoolbus

GM had best get their shite together with their switchgear, motors, and interior components.
Their seats are outstanding, but the rest of the interior just falls apart.

Earlier interiors were sotra chintzy, but the current trucks seem to be built right in my experience. All American interiors sucked not that long ago.
ETA: If these vehicles had a blue oval on the front most of this board would be going gaga.

More buttons and gadgets doesn't mean built right. Only time will tell if they are actually built better

Ugly is ugly no matter who builds it.

The current trucks have been out 6 years.

Not that my opinion matters but I like the Tahoe.

No, the current package was Refreshed in 2014.
The interiors were crappy 2007-2013.
The cost-cutting and cheapness was obvious.
Still excellent seats and sound-deadening, though.

The 2014 trucks have a new frame, new body, new interior, different suspension, and new engines. That is just a tad bit more than a refresh.
As for the 07-13 trucks (GMT900), they were never updated over their life cycle so to compare them to new model Fords and Dodges isn't exactly apples and oranges. A more fitting comparison would be to the 2007 competitors (BTW, I had a 07 F150 and the interior was nothing to brag about. Hard plastics, bad ergonomics, and very little storage space.)
We will have to agree to disagree I guess. Have a good one!

No, I agree. You can't always compare the previous gen of one manufacturer to the current gen of the other.
My position on GM and Ford is that they take turns one-upping each other. I think they both have fairly current models out right now, but Ford has the lead. Still love GM's 6.2 gas and if was buying a big gas-burner it would be a GM. Just need to up the limit on the Chevron card.
Dodge and Toyota have all but given up.

Their (Ram) top end models make Fords look like Pintos. I drive a F150 Plat btw.

Yeah, you're right, it's Ram.
A guy on the OT (cigar in his avi) was going to buy a new Ram and the driveshaft fell out after the test drive.
He bought it anyway.

I've got an 08 Tahoe and love it. Four wheel drive works great. Haven't gotten it stuck yet.
