So excited just got tickets to the LSU vs UGA game. It will be our (hubby and I) first time to Athens, any suggestions on places to eat, drink and catch up with other Tiger fans?

Do a search on here for Athens.
I'm not being flippant, but there have been numerous threads about the subject that might be helpful to you.

Depends on what you like.
I love Cali and Titos Cubano sandwich and it is byob. But it is a pretty quirky establishment and packed on football Saturdays.
For more upscale fare, 5 and 10 or The National. I adored Farm 255, but I believe the owners decided to close it. They used to project games on the wall which made it a great post game place to eat
Out of downtown, I like Mirkos Pasta. It is on the Eastside or used to be.
Honestly, the best meal in Athens is brunch and you really can't go wrong with mamas boy, heirloom, 5 and 10, big city bread, and plenty of others. Honestly, I would die happy if I could brunch for every meal
As for drinking, my favorites were the globe, trapeze, and the royal peasant which is in 5 points and more of a neighborhood bar than is usually lower key than the downtown bars. That last one will usually have Saturday am premiere league if that us your thing.
I haven't been to the roof terrace yet of the GA Theatre, but that might be an interesting vantage point on Saturday.
