Which is why it would have to show some wide releases like the Prytania does. I would be all for having a Twilight marathon as long as I can show El Topo at midnight.

The LSU union theater used to show artsy stuff. I saw some new releases there too. I don't know where to find their schedule or even if its still open.

I'm honestly surprised BR does not have something like this already. Just don't make too arthouse, show some small release quirky indie films, and allow alcohol in the theatre. I think it would thrive.
