At ease, it's pretty clear this OSU story started as a look into LSU.....

And they couldn't find anything so they traced this back to Miles' time at OSU.
They claim this has been a "10 month investigation", which would put the start of it right around when these two hacks were harassing Tyrann for their cover story in October about a kid that wasn't even playing football at the time.
Dohrmann yesterday on College Football Live said that "this didn't even start as an investigation into Oklahoma State", but the story took them there. Well, we know exactly where they were and what they were looking into 10 months ago.
This should ease any concerns that LSU fans have about our program. There is no doubt these guys dug, and couldn't find anything here, so they tracked down some disgruntled players from a decade ago at a program halfway across the country.
That's the best this Evans guy, apparently a huge OU homer, could do.
Could you imagine the scandal over a breaking story about recruiting violations at FLORIDA.....under Ron Zook
How bout massive corruption at ALABAMA.......under Dennis Franchione (old news)
I mean, seriously, Les Miles is in his NINTH SEASON as LSU's coach. NINE YEARS.
Why the frick does every headline about this lead off with Les Miles??? It would be laughable if it wasn't so clearly malicious.

Great observation, I hadn't thought of that.

Exactly. This story seems to be about Les first and OSU second. Which is the opposite of every other investigation like this. This is a clear attempt to go after Les. Thayer Evans is a POS.

I kinda suspected the same thing. Every allegation says blah blah blah, violations at OSU while Miles was there. Not a single allegation that says Miles orchestrated anything, or that he knew of anything. Yet they go out of their way to mention his name over and over. Gundy hardly gets mentioned.
In fact, I heard something like a lot of the players that informed, or were implicated, were dismissed from the team by Miles for violating team rules. Which tells me either A. Miles dismissed them when he knew of them violating rules, or B. they got dismissed and are now disgruntled and willing to throw anyone under the bus

Thayer lied on his resume to get a job. Let's send that to ESPN.

Should the writers make their way back to Baton Rouge, it'd ba ashame if they were scuffed up a bit by some hooligans from say...ULL...

When I saw that Thayer was involved I knew this had started about LSU.. During his TM investigation he tried every which way he could to put LSU in the cross hairs.. frick that guy and his shady tactics

We were investigated by the NCAA fior the lyles bullshite. The only thing that came from that was Shepard discussing questions asked to another teammate.
Ncaa has already checked and found nothing.

They are all working for Saban. Nick wants all our 4 and 5 star players. Nothing like a drag on out article that can be used in recruiting. All you have to tell Hootie, Robinson and Simms is that coach at that hack school south of your house won't be there much longer.

Ok after reading 2 of the 5 parts I, for one, feel a whole lot better about what is being written and how this could affect LSU and Miles. The bottom line is this is going to be a little embarrassing for Miles and he will be asked question regarding it until it dies down, which it eventually will, but there will be nothing that comes of it.
Regarding the education, college is what you want to make of it. If you want to apply yourself then you will reap the rewards and if you want to skate by, it will allow you to do it. I have plenty of classmates "like I am sure everyone has" at LSU that didn't want to apply themselves and took the easiest route possible at LSU. They got their passing grades anyway they could, including cheating. That is the difference between college and high school, they give you all the rope you want to either hang yourself or pull yourself through. Next we get to read about young college students doing drugs when they shouldn't be "that is shocking and new - yeah right" and young college students having sex. They should have titled this part of the story "Not New Revelations."
Miles's integrity with the parents of the recruits will be tarnished a little from these articles, but that will subside pretty quickly. Was worried a little at first, after reading what has been written so far. Now not worried at all!!!
