This is mine now and it's time to restore it.
Just bought a new hood for it and am getting a new paint job done with it.

Nice! What year is that?
Posted on 9/10/13 at 9:48 am to Bama and Beer
What are your plans for it?

already has a 2002 Mustang engine it that needs a little work. Rust work and paint job will cost me about $3000

4 speed on the floor is what I want but can't afford that

That thing looks awesome. Put a small lift on it and that thing would be super
You painting it the same color?
Posted on 9/10/13 at 9:56 am to Bama and Beer
You going back with that original color for paint?

Thats awesome man. That ride will always be a classic for any generation ahead of us (I think...)
Build it back up and pass it on down one day.

I will crank it up tomorrow and see if I can post the link

I'm building a 79 big body. Had a 351M in it. Just got a 429 EFI to replace it. Going through the engine before I install it. Looks rough right now

Very nice, OP. Especially for a truck that survived three 16 year old drivers.
I have a friend in Orange, TX who has one rotting away at his house, such a shame. It has a good motor, but the body is rusted out.

Body looks pretty damn straight for three 16 year olds wheeling it thru the years. That's awesome... I wish I still had my first vehicle (which was a 78 Chevy Blazer).

Man I've let a couple of those slip thru my fingers the last few years. Learned how to drive in a 73 at the hunting camp. I'm trying to find one that won't be too much work for my FIL, all I know how to do it beat the starter when it's stuck.

That's a great looking ride. I ran across a 72 last year that I couldn't pass up.

Idk the owner of this one, but it was at the same party I was at. Possibly the best looking one I've ever seen!
