No surprise. The coaches did everything they could to convince him to come to LSU. LSU offers all that Bama can offer and more, plus he would have had the opportunity to be a legend in Louisiana after football having played for his home state school. He just wanted to go to Bama. I just hope his commit does not encourage or sway any other of the top in-state prospects to follow him.

All of the lineman that were drafted out of Alabama would have gotten drafted no matter where the went to school. Going to Alabama is not what got them drafted.

That's funny. Bama's Oline has made so many rb's all Americans and all sec it's not even funny. Truth is on offense we've lacked severely at developing NFL talent over the last 4-5 years despite getting top rated recruits.

Recruits are takin notice.

104.5 said Shows had no idea what CRob was going to do. That is surprising, but not so much since he isn't a WM guy. He came over from Quachita.

I look forward to him laying on his backside while a LSU Dlineman stomps over him enroute to a sack

He has a much better shot of being an NFL player going to Bama as it sits today.

What was it, two of the first twelve picks in this year's draft were Alabama offensive linemen?

Look at how many running backs we have in the NFL right now...they didn't develop?

Props to Lester .

Seriously props to Coach Shows for not letting him play games.
There has to be a DT out there that can match him.

Only question is what malice does he have for LSU to want to play them and hurt there chances with another recruit?

LSU set the stage for Bama pillaging Louisiana recruits with the spanking Les took in the 2012 NC. Until LSU wins the west and wins some bowl games, Bama will take their share from Louisiana when they want them.

My point is that those lineman were already talented before going to Alabama. It is not like Saban took 2 star lineman and made them first round picks.

Yes, of course, your position is quite rational. When a team that is already ahead of us on the field, has three NC's to our zero in the last four years, and has beaten us the last two times we played, takes the best player in our home state - the third best player in the nation and one we admittedly offered and wanted -- that helps the LSU program. Naturally, that is the proper conclusion. One would never conclude that losing five star in-state recruits to Alabama is simply a bad thing. That would be insanely honest.
