Chavis is widely considered to be the best defensive coodinator in the nation. Cam Cameron has been one of the hottest names and very successful coordintors in the NFL for years having coached some of the best quarterbacks in the league. Just listening to the man talk in the offseason and how he approaches the game gives me confidence that we have something special. So lets see we have A top 3 defensive coordinator and linebackers coach in Chavis, quite possibly the best offensive coordinator in the league and quarterbacks coach, A top 5 recruiter in Frank Wilson who also happens to be a great running back coach, One of the best D-line coaches out there in Brick Haley, Best by far strength and conditioning coach, Special teams coach for us seems like one of the best. What else am I missing? Verdict is still out on our wide receivers coach and defensive backs coach imo, but both seem fine this season so far. It really is a good time to be a Tiger fan.

And many LSU fans were pissed at every single hire...hahahahaha

Especially Chavis..third and Chavis was bitched about ad nauseum.
This board has single handedly kept the crow market in business! Hahahahha

Not a single one.

From top to bottom, on both sides of the ball, no one can match us imo.

No disrespect to Raymond, but if only Cooper hadn't flown the coop

LSU very well may have the best overall staff in college football this year. Les Miles may not be the best head coach in the country, yet he has to be in the top 5-6.

Chances are it would be tough for 99.99% of folks on here to name 5 other position coaches in the country other than OC and DC, and prob 75% could not do it for those positions as well. Is Cam Cameron a better college QB coach than Jimbo? Is Chief measurably better than Saban, Bud Foster, Charlie Strong, Patterson over the past few years? Is Cam better OC than Kelly (Chip and Bryan), Jimbo, Peterson, Briles, Morris? Just enjoy this national championship season and don't worry bout the comparisons. No definitive way to tell till the Crystal is raised. Based on that we know who has had the best recently. It changes this year

LSU has a strong argument for best offensive coordinator, best defensive coordinator and the best recruiter
