Searched and didnt see anything about it.
This is what is wrong with our country.

Is this really suspension worthy?

During the nationally televised ESPN High School Football Kickoff over the weekend, cameras caught Weston (Fl.) Cypress Bay High coach Mark Guandolo giving senior quarterback Lucas Tellefsen an ear full -- followed by a swift smack on the helmet.

Surprised he wasn't fired and sued for hurting the kid's feelings.

Another great reason why high school football shouldn't be on national TV.
Anyone ever hear what happened to the kid that had to be flown away in the helicopter?

a grown man shouldn't be doing that to a freaking high school kid. not sure a suspension is necessary, but some punishment should happen.

That slap was a little over the top but im sure it happens everywhere.

General Patton was taken off the front in WWII for similar behavior.

The over abundance of that sentence is what is wrong with our country.

I think the overuse of the phrase "this is what is wrong with our country" is really what is wrong with our country.

My high school's head coach used to grab kids by the facemask and drag us up and down the sidelines when we fricked up. Of course that was twenty years ago and I did play for a Louisiana coaching legend. He would never be allowed to do that kind of thing today. The pussification of America continues. And the beat goes on....

Not a big deal, but coaches should leave that stuff on the practice field. It doesn't do much good during a game but show the player up and make the coach look like a d-bag.

So stupid that this is even a story.
Coach did nothing suspension-worthy in this instance.
This is no more physical abuse than slapping a kid on the arse after a good play is sexual abuse.
