What a great movie filled to the brim with A list actors.....more movies need to be like this. If you've never seen it, see it. It came on AMC tonight
....../endrandomness.

All the bad accents were distracting.

Marky Mark almost stole the movie.

I didn't care for the ending.
I read some article about the accents and some guy from Southie said that marky mark's accent was horrible and he couldn't understand it because mark is from Southie
Spoiler
He put in all that work, he should've gotten away with it.

It's one of my favorite movies of all time. I love Scorcese

Love the movie, I'll watch it anytime it comes on...
The ending is meh, don't like how they knocked off 3 people in a single scene, but hey, the rest of the movie is great.
I've heard, and it looks to be true from going back and paying close attention, that Scorsese puts an X in every scene in which someone is about to die.

If you liked it you should watch the original movie it was based on. Infernal Affairs
There's also an Infernal Affairs 2 and 3.

Definitely one of my all time favorites. It's one of those movies every time is see it on the wife knows I look no further. Even if we were in the middle of another show/movie, she just gets up and goes to the back.

My wife has always confused Damon and DiCaprio with each other, this movie was quite a trip for her ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I had no clue it was based on the mobster that just was in trial. Can't remember his name at the moment.
ETA: Just read through the thread. Yea, Whitey Bulger.
Also, that X marks danger thing is fricking cool as shite. No clue about that. Incredible detail by the director.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

I liked The Departed, but the ending turned a great movie into just a good movie.

Great movie. I remember a bunch of people got confused because of how similar Leo and Matt looked back then. I knew better because I had followed both of their careers up until then.

Monahan really deserved the Oscar for writing this. Superb.
