I bought the Turtle Beach X31's a while back. I never owned a pair of these type head headset, and I got them for cheap. I am looking to upgrade now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Tritton ax pros. 4 speakers in each ear with independent speaker control. I've had them or 2 years and they're still rocking.

Don't waste your money on a $150+ "gaming" headset. They all use low quality headphones with a decent mixamp.

Grab a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50 (they go on sale for $90-100), Zalman Clip-on Mic and an astro mixamp pro or something like that. This will be 10000x better than any gaming headphone out there

I've been looking at the Astro's but they get pricey... I will see how much I can get the mix amp for though

Plantronics GameCom 380
I don't need a $100 headset.

Skullcandy bought out Astro, that's why I posted the PLYR 1 and PLYR 2's by them. Astro components, but they also still offer the high end Astro headphones too.

They've gotten great reviews.

Cool... I wish there was somewhere you could go try them on! GameStop only has the Turtle Beaches out, and I'm looking to switch to something different

I'm really looking for something wireless if that is possible.

I'm on Xbox also, if that makes any difference

Get a pair of TB x41s off of ebay for $40 then. I had a pair of them when I had an xbox and there isn't much difference between those and Astros (owned both)

Screw a headset. I go full blown home theater and wake the neighbors.

I do this when I play alone.

Astro A30's for me when I play with friends.
