Are any of these even punk? New Found Glory is a ska band and Fall Out Boy is more alternative rock than anything else.

For sure. there's been some pretty loose interpretations going on in here.

I wouldn't really consider fugazi punk, but minor threat on the other hand...

I know that this thread is kind of bullshite. But does Operation Ivy get any love from any of y'all out there? They're a little past the 20 year limit. I used to be really into them when I was into that kind of thing. I still rock out to Knowledge every once in a while when I get into a weird mood.

Great list but...2013 - 20 = 1993. These are all 70s and 80s (which was way better than what these kids call punk).

Japandroids not count as punk? Saw them live w/ Cloud Nothings and it was raucous.

Also they were clearly mentioned here to troll, but im not afraid to admit my Fall Out Boy love. Folie a Deux is a good album.

refused... songs to fan the flames of discontent and shape of punk to come (SOPTC notably) are two of the best punk albums to come out ever, not just punk rock

Way more than you

Minutemen's Double Nickels on the Dime

Ramones, Sex Pistols, Clash obviously

Minor Threat, The Misfits, Fugazi, Gang of Four, the Adolescents, The Damned, the Dead Kennedys

I skateboard, bro. Punk rock is a major part of that.

What does this even fricking mean? Was I supposed to be born with punk rock knowledge?

I've met plenty of fool in my day, TheDoc, but you take the cake. You take the fricking cake

eta: I also like how you didn't comment on any of the punk artists I mentioned
