Patterson is out of his mind and looking for excuses to let the suspended guy play. Miles decisions are made based on individual cases and in this case had nothing to do with the TCU game as Patterson claims.

Hill should be suspended for the first 3 games though

So you think everyone will agree with your punishment? Everyone has different opinions.

Dude said something about fans of teams talking smack about Bama > LSU (which was a somewhat sarcastic remark on my part in the first place) when they've never beat/played Bama, so I had to reach way back in the history books to find the last time we played em.

you dont think he will be? i do.

fields gets in trouble
gets suspended but can practice with team
life lesson taught

hill gets in trouble
gets indefinitely suspended (no team activities)
gets reinstated (team activities)
likely facing multi game suspension
life lesson not taught

Per gary patterson

... He's also been offered Tennessee, Auburn, KSU, and numerous others over the last several years.

LSU is easily a top 3-5 coaching gig, but Coach P has found himself a good home in Ft. Worth. Only job I'd be concerned about him peacing out for is Texas, which is arguably (when you factor in the recruiting advance in the state and the resources that program has) the #1 gig in the country. And if that happens, I'll probably hang myself.

People it's big time sports with big time money morality in major college athletics has long been dead. Go watch the IVY league if this kind of thing really bothers you.

who's starting QB has been arrested for selling drugs and DUI

To once again correct the multitude of ranters, Pachall was suspended for a DWI (alcohol) arrest. This was not unlike T-bob's alcohol incident on campus for which he suffered minimal repercussions (not a single game suspended). However, in an effort to help the person Patterson met with Pachall and his parents and decided 1 yr removal from team and mandatory drug and alcohol rehab. Pachall did not test positive for meth or coke. He was not arrested for selling drugs. In an unforced admission, Pachall admitted to having tried cocaine and ecstasy once each in the past when he was questioned 18 months ago surrounding the drug scandal on campus and his failed MJ test. ALL of the players that were arrested during the drug issue were dismissed from the team. Pachall was drug tested weekly after that incident and was negative consistently. Alcohol however, as many of you know, is easily acquired and not tested for on a urine drug screen.

yes it would make it stop. but i doubt thats his concern. he's not going to change up how he's gone about things for years because gary patterson is crying about it.

Miles shouldn't cater to the self righteous morons.

Patterson jumped to conclusions without knowing if Hill will be suspended or not. He took shots at Miles and his fans are trying to use the Liberal excuse of "They took it out of context" bullshite. All the while he is starting a QB who has been arrested twice for selling drugs and a DUI.
