A 12. They had a 14 but it was huge - too huge for my taste.

Well yeah I'm in the same boat I need something lighter but as far as fishing it's the best.
And as far as the H bar if that's the attachment I'm thinking of you don't need that to stand up in the Angler, maybe if you were at the beach or something dealing with waves but how often would that be

Yeah you definitely could use that for as easy as it is. I was thinking of the sidekick thing although the one I remembered them having was more dual on both sides, like an H

You're talking about the outriggers...I agree, those things are in the way if you are trying to land a fish. I have no idea how guys use those at all.

Yep! And those outriggers were good when you first had fishing kayaks because they only had sit-ins and the hulls were all the same - smooth, not an ounce of stability, no chance of standing.
The industry has made those obsolete now..unless you are rigging a Hobie kayak into a catamaran, which some people do.

You should have bought a paddleboard for that price. You wouldn't need a walker to stand up on it either. The backrest in that H-Bar video is hilarious, may as well bring the remote and gaming console.

awesome rig buddy. The more I kayak, the more I dislike paddling, especially since it always seems to be a steady wind in my face,

Paddle boards cost 3 G's ?
12' Board - $1700
Paddle - $200
Yeti - $320
Tackle Rack - $200
So, $2500 before you start outfitting it to move (board bag is $150) or fish.
The tackle rack moves up to the center position once you get to where you're going, so you stand on the Yeti in the center to sight cast. Paddle around sitting on it (Yeti) or move it up to the front.

Love my outback. I have tried the PA, but I just think the outback is the perfect fishing kayak.

I'm not necessarily against paddle boards in general, it's just that for fishing there are soooooooo many other way more practical options.

just way too heavy for me
the point of a kayak is for me to be able to throw it over my shoulder and pack it where I want
