Going to be in this area for the next few days without any spare time to venture out into the metro area to go hit the spots i'm familiar with.

Although i'm born and raised in New Orleans, this area aint my stompin' ground, So I have no idea of the quality of all of these restaurants I'm seeing along Williams Blvd.

Not looking for fine dining, of course. Just decent eats.
TIA for any suggestions.

In a city that lacks good BBQ options, the best choice in all of NOLA metro area might be right there at Ted's Smokehouse.

Not trying to debate one over the other right now, but it's a good option in that area.

Mr Ed's on West Esplanade has your more traditional N.O. neigbhorhood food.

If you want to drive just a little ways into Metairie Restaurant Cypress, Austins, Vincents, and Sandros are all pretty good places between Clearview and Williams.
