Cliff notes? Can't watch

Can't stand the way he answers questions!

Referenced the schedule again. "3 teams from the West only had 1 loss within the division." He was answering Skip who asked if Bama was separating themselves from the rest of the SEC. LSU had the lead with 90 seconds left on Bama, only one loss in division, Bama separation isn't as clear cut as ESPN makes it out to be.

I wish he'd tear both Bayless and Smith apart. Trash sensational "journalism" flows from their flopping faces.

Stephen A is under the impression LSU came in 3rd place in the SEC West last season.

I'd be shocked if Stephen A watched a college football game from start to finish in the past 10 years.

Probably just looked at final records.

Stephen A Smith is an idiot, a douchebag and what's wrong with America. The fact that he gets a platform to spout his idiocy is mind-boggling.
Another reason I don't watch ESPN except when the Tigers are playing.

Speaking of douchbaggery on ESPN, Olbermann is supposed to be coming back.

Stephen A is almost as bad as Wilbon when it comes to talking about college football. They need to stick to pro sports.

Les rustling jimmies like always

Well us losing 21-0 did not help our cause and if you ask me yes they did separate from us that game as the premiere SEC program, we had our shot and blew it regardless if we played them already. Just my .02.

He said all 3 had one loss within the division, and we had the lead with 90 seconds to go, so the separation isn't as great as it may appear.
Stephen A was very complimentary of Les. Didn't seem to want to ask any tough questions, possibly because of his lack of knowledge on college football generally, LSU specifically.
Les handled the show well.
The Fowler interview on Sportscenter was truly stupid. Regurgitating the same tired media talking points that they beat to death at media days, even the stupid question about the Australian punters

Skip actually opened with a good question imo.
He said, you're known as the Mad Hatter, taking chances, etc, but you tell me, how would you describe your coaching style.
Miles said his focus is always to have his team prepared, and his "risks" are always rehearsed and practiced to perfection, and the play isn't called until he's confident the players can run it right, and the situation is appropriate.
He said the idea that he calls them to the sideline and says hey let's draw this up in the dirt is never the case.
He also told SA on a follow up question about how he feels comfortable and never backs down from the spotlight that he's never met a football coach that wasn't prepared to step up and make the tough decisions because someone has to finish second every game and he is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure his team finishes first when he walks off the field. That's the nature of this business.
Overall a good segment, much better than the Fowler segment on Sportscenter imo. Skip and SA seemed to gain some respect as it went on, and he was schmoozing like a boss with the anchor woman as they went off air giving her some flack for being a UCLA fan before giving her a big hug.
