And you made fun of my list??
No, I said the kemba walker ranking was weird. My list is fine. If you have a problem with it maybe say it.

And I think Walker is better than people give him credit for.
he's a chucker with an inconsistent 3 point shot (as of now). he was also relied upon heavily on a terrible team
you see anybody putting monta ellis in the top 10?

absolutely

frick doug collins
just watch his PER climb with a modern offensive philosophy
i say this a a huge FBB fan of holiday's and not a pels fan

yes, and i believe they were all-time bad in terms of driving to the hoop
basically doug collins had the worse offensive plan in NBA history, considering the contemporary offense of his time
he did everything wrong. long 2s and no driving, when the NBA today is all pick/roll driving and 3s
it's almost assured that holiday will drive more and shoot more 3s/less long 2s, which alone will make his PER rise a good bit (his overall stats may go down, however, due to evans/gordon. PER is about efficiency)

2. Westbrook
3. Rondo
4. Parker
5. Rose
6. Irving
7. Curry
8. Wall
9. Jrue
10. Deron

Kemba has zero help on what is the worst team in the NBA.
And you're not considering Ellis a PG are you?
I do get your point though.

henderson isn't terrible (but he was injured for part of last year) offensively
and the fact that he had no help increased his usage, which is what i've said over and over

he's as much of a point guard as walker. both are chuckers who get assists off drives
ellis has played the point for the vast majority of his career. even with curry in GS, curry would often play the 2

Valid points.
I probably should have included with Jrue or Lawson in that list and dropped Walker.

guys like ellis and walker do have lots of value, but that value, in my eyes, is limited to the following:
1. high-usage chucker on a bad offensive team
2. bench sparkplug scorer
there is nothing wrong with either role (and admittedly, walker can improve still, while we know what ellis is), but i think that removes them from consideration from a top 10 list, especially when there are so many good point guards who provide more today. this is a golden era of PGs
PGs in the NBA today are like RBs in the NFL

You have one of the better list I have seen, but I would move Rondo up a bit. His success in the playoffs compared to a few of the guys in front of him should give him a slight advantage.
I think it will be interesting to see how he performs with worse talent around him next year.

his "selfish assists" will become a lot more scarce
it will be interesting, b/c he's shown (in the playoffs and prime time games) that he can destroy a defense with his scoring...he just often prefers not to

Can't believe Damian Lillard hasn't made a single list. That boy is a killer.
Posted on 7/21/13 at 12:10 pm to RTR America
While it's semi-unfair to Rondo to be honest, I do want to see how good he is without 2-3 future hall of famers to dish to you this year.

Not really? What makes you think that?
D Will averaged 20 points, 8 assists, while shooting 40% from behind the arc. The only statistic that Nate Robinson technically beats D Will is TO, and its a 3 TO/game-2.7 TO/game comparison which is nothing, especially when D Will logged 7 more minutes a game.
