Had some serious slicing issues this weekend. Sometimes not even a slice, a nice high ball flight just completely in the wrong direction
Think I figured out that my front arm was away from the body on the down swing and it was leaving the club face open.
Working on that now though, so should start getting much more consistent. By the way, birdie balls are pretty cool to hit around the house. I'm enjoying them, they don't feel like a ball off the face as they are marketed, but its something decently solid that you can actually put some muscle in, and the flights are pretty reliable as far as slice, draws etc.

Decided to play a round yesterday afternoon at Clear Creek. Ballin on a budget this month so that $15 tee time from golfnow was the tits.
Went 46/45. Somehow I managed to 3-putt 3 out of 7 GIR. I was playing so much better on the back 9. Got a birdie on the par 5 #13 for my first birdie in about 2 months. But I just had to count up my score while waiting to tee off on 17 and then said "If I can get a bogey and par on the last two I can break 90 for the first time." Proceeded to triple 17 and then managed a par on 18. So close to breaking 90 if I just didn't run my mouth and get cocky (aka drunk).
Probably just practicing for the next couple of weeks. My brother is coming in town the first weekend of next month and I want to beat him so bad hahaha fricker rarely plays and still manages to shoot in the mid 80's when we play. Bastard.

Driver 288...that's it? And did he make the putt
it was one poorly hit low hook that ran perfectly with the sloping fairway hill. it was a pure british open kind of shot. rolled over 100 yards down to the green
the best drive I hit with the driver all day was on #12 I drove it to the edge of the greenside bunker on a par 4. Made Bogey.
Don't sleep on Net's power. dude can pipe it.Big strong lad

I like that club, do they have a full set?
Posted on 7/15/13 at 9:07 am to Thib-a-doe Tiger
No, just in the lower lofts.

I've never hit a driving iron before. Can you play them off the deck at all or are the tee-only?
