im 62 so 45 is good for me. Plus Ive always choked down about a 1/4in on ever club. just a product of playing dads clubs when they wer to big for me. Any other way is so uncomfortable to me

Yeah that length is perfect for you. I'm 5'9 with my thick socks on. My longest driver is 43.5

Yeah I just looked that up. Couple sites say anywhere from 45-48 in standard now and I'm thinking to myself the driver I swing looks longer than pros use so I'm glad you brought that up. I'm gonna look into it some more.
Not that I need to be like the pros but just stating pros on tour who are my size look to swing shorter drivers than I do.

And isn't he like 6'3? I believe I saw somewhere that Rober Karlsson(6'5) was using a 44" driver a while back and that's when I decided 45" was entirely too long for me. It's easier to hit the center of the club face so I actually feel like I've gained distance.

Right now, I essentially have a driver on a three wood shaft. I haven't got if figured out yet.

Yeah either 6'2" or 6'3" I think. You mentioned Karlsson, idk how tall he is but I know it's gotta be well over 6' and if he's swinging 44" then you're right about that.

Mine has a minor sky mark on it from a day where me and 2 buddies had 4 beers left in the chest when we bought 2 cases. shot 35 on the front and was going good on the back until the beer really hit me. Is the Baton Rouge Amateur a 36 hole stroke play event, just like most other BREC events? I recall that one of the tournaments was match play, but I didn't know if that was the Baton Rouge Amateur.
