Anybody have any information on this? Opening in the same strip as Griffin Grill, Southern Maid, and the chinese place. A little bit of googling indicates there is a liquor store of the same name in Lake Chuck?

On the sign I think it said Wine, Spirits, Cigars, Gifts...something like that. Looks like it is going to be a rather large store. Looking forward to what they have to offer.

Yeah we have one here in Lake Chuck, they get some decent beers from time to time but you have to watch the dates on the bottles. The wine and liquor selection looks to be good

If it's the same shop as in Lake Chuck, it's got a good wine and liquor selection. Should be the best around that area by far.

Wish they would keep these signs going. The one by the Garden District would light up and flap its specter wings

It must be where that old video store was in that strip. It's a pretty big space.

Alexandria

Hebrew family in Ellick owned the original. I think the LC one is a kid or relative. The downtown store closed and the one remaining is the suburban store on Jackson Street. Has the best selection of beer/wine in Alexandria, but I still stop in BR and Shreveport to get stuff they do not sell.

Would bet the Dutchtown store is another kid of the owner.

The one in LC has a great liquor, cigar, beer selection. I don't drink wine but they have a large selection of that as well. The staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable, in my experience.

This is actually what I am most interested in. I give most of my cigar business to the nice people at Habana Port in BR but it will be nice to have some cigar options out this way.

It will probably suck but be the best in Gonzales area for craft beer.
