Not a fan.

Given just 10-days to make a selection, Tigers fans logged on the Memphis website and cast 2,997 of the approximately 6,000 total votes for floor design #1, the city skyline/bridge option. Additionally, the Memphis floor will carry the new American Athletic Conference logo, as well as an enlarged leaping Tiger mark and social media marks.

In a few more years, courts like that are going to be the norm in college basketball

I live in Memphis and can’t stand the team, but I will say I am a fan of the new court.

just noticed the social media marks. If they get rid of those I really like the court.

social media marks

Thought those were banned? From the Mississippi State news a few weeks back. Is it just for Football?

Not a huge fan but if they were gonna go with that style of court (seems more schools are doing some type of design on the court) its not awful. Oregon is 10x worse.

I would have picked the one without the bridge, but it looks good.

I like traditional courts (think Duke), but it's not terrible. However, I could see some problems coming into play where the 3pt line, bridge and skyline intersect. There's a lot going on there. Might lead to some questionable 3 pt calls.

I really don't like this flashy design we're getting into now with sports. First it was college football and their 100 uniform combinations....then it shifted to 100 combinations + unrecognizable sh!t like Maryland....then the NFL started following along....now basketball is going with courts with trees and skylines and the terrible "sleeve" jerseys.

Bring back the classic look.
