I got bad news and a scedule of an appointment with my doctor as a result a little while ago. I am now considered to be pre-diabetic. I think my dietary choices will take a hit when we speak.

I don't know a lot about "diabeetus", but I do know that sometimes, you can reverse the diagnosis with a change of diet, and cutting out carbs, sugar, etc. How's your overall health other than this?

Good luck and keep us posted.

do not listen to dieticians whose school is funded by montesanto. Research ways to lower blood sugar by cutting carbs not eating meals with two carbs and metformin

Take 3,000 mg of fish oil a day, 200 to 400 mg of alpha lipoic acid, and 200 mcg's of Chromium Polynicotinate, daily.

Get those triglycerides in check big time. Of course, ask your doctor first..

Good luck. You're going to get a lot of advice. Finding out you are pre-diabetic is better than finding out you are diabetic.

Also, Pennington might have a study or two you can sign up for.
