Just returned from Argentina...

..and i think it's probably ruined me for any other type of hunting. Was in the Entre Rios province, on the Parana river. Shot dove and perdiz over five days. Not quite the volume of birds as Cordoba, but plenty enough birds for me, and I really like the area as it is more diverse in terms of things to hunt this time of year. I only hunted dove and perdiz but another group staying at the same place hunted dove, perdiz, duck, pigeon, and parakeets, limiting out on everything. They also fished dorado in the Parana one day. All in all, really enjoyable experience that I will likely repeat again in the near future.

It's not a matter of 'if' for me...just 'when'. How depressing would it be for someone in their 20's to go hunt Argentina. It'd be hard to replicate in the States.

It's like losing your virginity to Pamela Anderson in her prime and then knowing you'd be banging OT 4's the rest of your life.

A buddy in town hunts Cordoba pretty much every year. Loves it.

I don't believe there is any way I will ever afford this. My FIL went a few yrs ago and enjoyed it
