Yep but it faces the opposite direction so the wind is always blowing in or across

I think I saw someone say earlier that there has never been a 9th inning comeback at TD Ameritrade. Let's see if Indiana can be the first
correct, LSU v Texas in game 1 of the 2009 championship series was the last time a team blew a 9th inning lead. It's right around 50 games straight now

These people saying we need to adapt dont know much about sports......
I agree.
Let's just extend the 3 point line for the Final Four to 28 feet

Hitters have no chance when the ball can be 4-6 inches off the outside corner and called a strike.

Shocker, hit the hell out of it..fell short of the track to almost the deepest part of the park

Is this the game thread?
Posted on 6/19/13 at 9:53 pm to fleaux
Yeah but it has nothing to do with its size. With the old bats guys still hit homers here no problem
Posted on 6/19/13 at 9:53 pm to Choupique19
How about this. If you're worried about it not looking like legit baseball, then move the fences in a little and make the move to the same balls as the bigs and wooden bats. College baseball has reached the point where the "wooden bats are too expensive" argument no longer works.

the wind always blew out at rosenblatt and always blows in at TDA. It makes a huge difference. Add dead bats and non-MLB balls, you get games determined by slap hits, bunts, and errors

Most soccer games have higher scores than this.

Indiana average 9.6 runs a game, beat Florida State by crushing the ball all over the park, and they just got complete game shut out by Oregon State's number 3 pitcher.
6 runs in 3 games.
6 runs in 3 games.

So you need great pitching and hitting to get to the CWS. But when you get there....crappy pitching and hitting will almost guarantee you a spot in the championship.
Got it....FML

And there it is. We can compare baseball to soccer.

teams are averaging a combined 3.11 runs a game in Omaha this year. the pitching is not that good

It isn't even close to that point yet, imo. There are over 200 Division I baseball teams, and some of the major conferences haven't even fully embraced and invested in the sport yet.

If I was an Oregon St. fan, I could yell this at the Indiana fan...
"YOU JUST TOOK A ONE-NOTHIN' arse WHIPPIN'
SUCK IT!"

What do you think the NCAA would do of the final scores in the Final Four were 25-23 and 28-24?
I'm not sure why that would be a bad thing. They sound like pretty close games.

I watched IU against FSU, they were crushing it...and in the regional. Legit hitting team. This is a prime example
