I agree, hindsight is 20-20 but you are down a run man on first no outs, you need to bunt and get them over to 2nd give them 2 shots at scoring. It is not complicated matter of fact it is really just coloring in the spaces.

I am really struggling to make sense of the Rhymes at bat.

Well that just shows you don't know a f*cking thing about baseball, nor have you ever played the game at a high level "obviously for you dumb-arse that would be anything above little league." If he would have bunted Katz over, guess what if that single didn't score the runner we would have had runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out, there are a ton of ways to score the runner with one out and runner on 3rd. It also makes you pitch differently and play defense differently.

The run expectancy actually says you swing away. Remember Raph still has to execute the bunt.
