i fricking hate all the flopping that goes on. but they'll keep doing it as long as it works.
Agreed. That's why the discipline has to be handed out DURING the game.
These rich fools will spend 5K to be able to influence an NBA Finals game without hesitation.

the wow meaning that you could even think he wasnt flopping his arse of on that

Therefore, he put his team in a better position to win. Period. The flopping nonsense is on the shoulders of the NBA, not the players. The NBA's job is to call a foul on the flopping player or increase the fines.
i dont understand how you could look at yourself as a player after pulling some BS like that

Bosh did what he had to do to get the call.
Bosh knows how to win championships.

Each Player is warned during the game.
The next time it is a technical and they can be ejected after two technicals.
Have the league come out during the offseason and be clear about policy.
Excessive flopping technicals can lead to a suspension without pay.
The issue should clear up quickly with proper enforcement.
CP3 will probably miss some games.

$5000 fine /$17,540,000 this year = .0285% of salary
Thats $28.50 if you're making $100,000 this year if my mental math is correct
GREAT JOB NBA!!!!

Without question it's a drop in the bucket for him.
He got the call in the Finals. If the Heat win the Title, he'll consider it the best $5,000 he has ever spent.
It's up to the league to get rid of flopping, not the players.

While playing basketball in high school my mindset was different. Why flop to get the call when you could just play tough defense? Forget playing like a bitch, just man up and be better than the offensive player. That was how my mind worked when I played competitive sports throughout high school. Maybe you settle for the easy way out. I don't.

I agree. I don't support or condone his actions at all, but this kind of discipline from the NBA is such a farce. If they want it stopped, they're gonna have to change the procedure.

I think flopping should incur major fines and then suspensions unless the flop is just awesome.
If a player flops and does something crazy like launches himself into the Gatorade table or something, I believe that he should NOT be fined plus get the call.

I agree. Increasing the fines may help during the regular season, but the only way you will prevent it during the playoffs is to start handing out suspensions.

doesnt mean he doesnt look like a bitch in front of his peers.
they are rich as frick and dont care i know but that not the point.its like you are trying to deceive the game.
and bosh is gay so doesnt matter.

In soccer, you get a yellow if the refs believe that you are diving/flopping. Two yellows result in an ejection. In the NBA, two technical fouls result in an ejection. Give out technical fouls for obvious flops.
