It is pretty ironic that OU fans respond to JJ's "classless" antics by hoping OU earholes him or breaks his ribs. Wanting your team to deliberately injure another player is the epitome of TRASH, in any sport.

They really know how to take trashy to a new level over there.

If you watched the highlights in real time, he CLEARY is not yelling at the pitcher. Awesome picture though.

Good thing the Rockies rarely play in Fenway or Yankee stadium

I'm not arguing with you but who gives a shite who he was yelling at. The guy just scored what he thought would be the only run of the game. I would have done cartwheels all the way down the base path.

I literally would have crawled backwards to home while fapping and looking at the pitcher

I was nervous. All it takes is one big hit or a mistake and that is game. Nola gave up a double and OU had a runner on third with one out but OU could not get him home. I was sweating this one out until LSU scored 2 runs.

Was keeping track at work, once we got to 5th then 6th i knew the furst team to score would win. Glad it was us.

A SEASON LONG thread of 71 pages?

That says all that you need to know right there.

if that offends them, they'd flood their tampons, if they heard what is said on the football field, fwiw, our local paper has a pic taken about a step or two prior to the one posted, and Jones eyes are looking beyond Gray directly towards our dugout

If Gray makes it to MLB then he gets the last laugh. Some fans can be jackasses

LSU baseball fans are nice. They aren't the football fans.

I mean for Christ's sake we stayed and clapped as Stony Brook did a victory lap around our own park last year. Which was overboard IMHO.

But glad you had a great time. It's nice to hear the good stories like these every once in a while when you hear so many "piss bomb" types

Other than that guy OU fans were nice and played along.

This has always been my experience with OU fans at the game. However, OU fans in general hate LSU fans because they use 2003 in New Orleans as their reference point. Too bad. LSU fans in BR are some of the most hospitable in the country especially at the tailgates.

To be honest the OU fans in 2004 were generally bad. They expected LSU to lay down for their team and didn't handle it well when they didn't.

This is very true. I was there. It was way beyond possibility that they could ever lose to LSU in a big game and they were very arrogant going into it. And, in general were in culture shock when they came to New Orleans and saw how intense LSU fans were and how much fun we like to have and do have.

Oh yeah, God forbid Jacoby let some of his swag out of the bottle when scoring the game winning run

I think Jacoby was looking at the dugout and Gray was walking by. I don't think he was looking at Gray, camera angle made it look that way

". I guess I just felt better about where Nola was missing throughout the game than Gray. That was one awesome/fun pitching matchup."

This is truth,I watched it back when I got home and Nola was at or below the knees all night. The ump helped him on the low strikes. OU has no bats to speak of.

gentleman, you have a hell of a team and i like you to win it all. had a great time both games, despite the outcome. tonight's performance was a bit embarrassing, but you all were just far superior in every aspect.

must be nice for anyone who takes the mound for you all to know that all they have to do is let the batter put the ball in play and his defense will take care of the rest.

you all can flat out hit.

alright, enough of the knob slobbing. jacoby jones is a douche. a damn good douche, but a douche nonetheless.

Not sure why Jones is getting such a bad rap.

He started the year in a horrible slump...he was hitting .180 about halfway in. It got in his head and finally came to a boiling point when he got frustrated, didn't run out a ground ball, and was benched by the coach. From that point on, Jones has had a renewed enthusiasm and has been on a tear. Maybe he has gone too far the other direction with his emotions...but he isn't a bad dude.
