I didn't have any bad experiences with their fans in '04 either. Then again that's probably because I was only 12.

Do understand to a degree bout Gray's parents, that's only natural with the subject matter involved. But the kid seems pretty tough & able to take care of himself by now. But if they think last nite was bad, wait till he runs into the fans in Philly, Chicago or New York. They'd eat him alive if this shite happened during a season. But it's not just LSU fans: ask Raph or Laird bout the LF/RF fans in Starkville, Arkansas, Columbia, Oxford. The SEC is brutal but that is what makes the league's teams so successful. Our players play in front of the most intense, intimidating fans in college baseball, regular season. So post season pressure is almost normal by the end of the yr.

Last night, I was next to Gray's first cousin, who has lived in BR for years. Dude was as nice as he could be, interesting stories. Gray is getting a $5.5 million signing bonus, and has had a smoking got girlfriend for years. I wish him well in the majors.
