If you say something enough times on here then it must be true.
Even if Peterson passed the number down to Mathieu because they were close, there isn't anything built around the number.
People keep demanding on here that it must stay with the DB's, but there are plenty of famous #7's on offense as well.

except that it was passed to PP7 too. Arguably the 2 best defensive players in LSU history have worn the number now. I think that makes it special
