ESPN used to be the only channel on my tv. HGTV replaced it and I couldn't be happier

Btw, we all know the schedule always favors bama. It's bs and everyone knows it.
What pisses me off even more is how some LSU "fans" think Miles is crying or we should just pretend the schedule is fair.
Nothing will change if we sit on our arse without speaking up and pretend the schedule will fix itself.

The BFDL is a fine, highly respected journal featuring insightful analysis from its crack sportswriting staff.

ESPN is sick of SEC dominance. Want proof? Look at their college preview last year. They're setting up an argument to keep a 1 loss Bama out.

This is exactly what this line of ESPN thinking is about now. Nice thing for lsu is it helps put heat on the SEC.

I don't know about that. They are our partner with the SEC network. Doubt they would wanna step on their own toes.

They don't really love Alabama. They wanted the mulligan to blow up the system.

Motha freakin THIS!! This was the answer that they saw. Force a 1 loss rematch between 2 teams from the same conference that no one outside of Bama wanted to see again. They put Saban on a pedestal on game day to appeal to voters and coaches to slide in. Was MR on game day crying that he should get a shot if all hell broke loose in 07? In 2006, they rallied against a rematch between OSU and Meeeshigan. They claimed "they had their shot". In 07' they instilled the unwritten rule of having to win your conference. Then fast FOWARD a few years later and everything they were against in 2006, 2007, the were for In 2011. It was worse than watching a political debate. They even bailed on the computers and use the old eyeball test by saying Bama was better than OL just because. Bama lost to #1' OL lost to an unranked on the rd. never mind the SOS. never mind the tragedy. They wanted a death to the BCSNCG and this was a sure way to get it.

ESPN is in for whatever sells. If Their is something to gain by Bama winning # whatever they claim, they will pimp the shite out of it. Problem is, no one outside of that fan base likes the winner/Dominance. Everyone beside the fans will be out to see Bama/SEC be dethroned and ESPN will pimp it because it will attract viewers to gripe about the but hurt because no one else wins

They have the decision over LSU on that last stat. This is where Miles has to improve.

That last stat kind of takes some starch out of the argument though.

depends on who the teams were and at what time of year they played. lots of top 10 teams start the season and then don't pan out.

arkansas was top 10 a last year or year before and alabama got them in the first 3 games of the season so they were top 10 by the time lsu played them at the end of the season they were no longer top 10.

lsu, alabama, aTm (2012), florida, georgia, usce, auburn, and arkansas top 10 since 2007. how many of these teams did both lsu and alabama play in the same year.

Miles has had a habit throughout his career of struggling winning and then losing close games to SEC teams. Both ranked and unranked. I mean look how he struggled with a bad Auburn team last season. You can't deny that, the proof is there. But hopefully with a new offense installed they will finally start separating from some of thse teams especially the ones they should dominate.

every team is like that they tend to play down to the competition or looking ahead to the next game.

I haven't seen that with Alabama's or UGA's and Florida's routing the weaker SEC teams.

Why not include 2007? Saban was their coach that year as well.

Is it because Alabama lost 6 that year?

If youI haven't seen it then you don't watch much football. It happens.

If you're that mad about it go pull for...

You can't be serious... UF 2 years ago lost many games they shouldn't have... UGA under richt has constantly under achieved.

Yeah since Muschamp has taken over, but even them occassionally have blown out a weaker SEC team when they should. And Richt of course has his shortcomings, but is always good for the occassional blowout of a lesser SEC team. You guys can make all the excuses you want. You no damn well LSU's offense under Miles ain't blowin nobody out, they will win the game, but it will be closer than it should be. But hopefully that's fixin to change.
