LSU Football in decline? (according to oppsing sec coach)

Just got Athlon preseason mag., since it was firsty one out, and says that the LSU program is in a decline! Also says we have been passed up by A&M in the pecking order and about to be by Ole Miss and Auburn! We do not reload like Bama does? I do not see this as true, but it is what they believe!!

Well, we're in decline but we certainly haven't been passed by anyone yet and I'm pretty sure Ole Miss ain't ever gonna do it.

Everyone has an opinion. We will see. I don't think a reputable publication should print something like that based on an anonomous source. Either credit the person that made the comment or don't print it.

Decline would be a long term thing...
we lost 2 games last year and a meaningless bowl game.
We beat A&M and if not for a blown defensive coverage we would beat Bama.
If we don't fumble the football after a 70 yard pass we may have beat florida as well.
Our defense made manziel look pretty bad.
We are rebuilding on defense this year, but by the time we get to the end of the year I expect them to be as good as ever.
