Don't know which will be better, but I'm getting both. No real reason not to get both.

Anyone know if Metal Gear Solid 5 will be on the next gens?
Posted on 5/22/13 at 6:52 pm to LSUFAN2005
We don't know. Ground Zeroes will be on PS3 and 360 though.

sorry to go off topic in this PS4 fap thread but this has to be one of the worst sig quotes I've ever seen. I see it's intended purpose but it lacks any sort of logic based in actual football principles. We don't need to break it down here. We can meet up at the Tuscaloosa Hooters and do that. Just thought I'd call you out. I rarely venture over to the redneck rant.
Back on topic, will Sony have Cloud based computing for the PS4? Honest question. Not trying to point out a deficiency. I guess theoretically the Xbox One COULD end up being more powerful if this Cloud shite has as much potential as Microsoft thinks it will.

I think I'd prefer to go with the better overall gaming system, however will the added potential in the PS4 really be utilized?
I think it is probably a fair bet that the Microsoft will sell more units than Sony. Will games then be designed primarily for the One and not take advantage of what the PS4 has to offer?

As far as we know right now, the answer is yes and no. They plan on using cloud computing for backwards compatibility, but we do not know if they'll be able to use it for PS4 games. It would be safe assumption, but we don't know yet.

There's no "fair bet" at this point. We don't even know the price of either console yet.

I'm basing that assumption off much higher sales of the 360 domestically and the fact that the One is being marketed to a broader customer base.
I'm just worried that if I get a PS4 developers will focus primarily on the One and not take advantage of the PS4's potential.

We've already seen that sales from one generation doesn't guarantee sales in the next. Also, while PS3 sells less in the U.S, it outsells the 360 in almost all, if not all, other territories.

I'll give you this.

At the least, PS4 games should be running multiplats at a higher FPS.

PS3 only got 34% of its sales in the US, whereas the 360 57% of its from the US. Europe is more important to Sony's success than NA (40% of its sales from Europe).
Also considering that the PS3 and 360 are a virtual tie in sales, I don't think you can predict who will do better. That prediction can only really be safe after a year or two on the market.

Doesn't matter PC is better than both

Pick one for exclusives/features you like, the multiplatform games will have negligible differences.

The majority of those territories aren't playing a lot of the same games as we are in the U.S.
I think his concern was domestic games will be focused more on Xbox if it's the more popular unit.

Sony is licking their chops right now, as negative information just keeps leaking out, i.e., even your current headset won't be compatible with the One. The concensus at this point is that it's a toy for the privileged that don't mind getting nickel and dimed to death.

Besides Japan/Korea, I'd think the games being played are similar.

Picture is wrong, Knack gameplay was shown. Also, the type of RAM for PS4 is wrong.
