What could LSU do to keep you in the stadium longer during football games?
Stop piping in shitty music and get fans that don't suck as much to be around.

not much honestly, not much you can do to keep anyone no matter who they are or where they are sitting to keep asses in the seats longer
top 25/SEC games people will stay
with the shite opponents people will leave at halftime (especially with alcohol/food and top 25 games on the TV back at the tailgate and or house), just the way it is and always will be

do better job of controlling the drunks.

Against teams with less talent, it is the job of the LSU players to make the fans leave early.

For those whose season ticket seats are between the 20's in the lower bowl (which would include mine) the Athletic Department should threaten non-renewal if the seats are not occupied until at least midway through the 4th quarter for more than half the home games during the season. Or make it over the course of 2 consecutive seasons if you want to be more liberal.
Modern photographic technology is more than adequate for enforcement. Easy to take snapshots at 10-minute intervals to allow for the seat being empty due to bathroom and concession stand runs.

-Better cell service
-Smoking area
-more fans in the concourses (to cool off when hot/humid)
-TVs in concourse showing other games besides LSU
The majority of the time when I leave it's because I: a)need to smoke...b)I'm hot/dehydrated/need air...c)there's another game I really wanna watch more than ours

Why do our pussy fans need to be enticed into remaining in the stadium? Isn't the fact that LSU is playing one of its few annual home games reason enough to stay until the end? Jesus.

i seriously believe the problem here are the tv time outs. how long is the average LSU home game? 3-3.5 hours? and the game, itself, where the clock is running is exactly 1 hour. the fact is that tripling the total game time fatigues everyone: the drunks get less drunk, kids get cranky, students get bored and horny, smokers want to go smoke, etc.
hypothetically, if the game was 2-2.5 hours instead of 3-3.5 hours, i think that way more people would stay and the experience would be way more intense and universally appreciated.

I've never left early. But when I go to a game, I'm only going for the game . I'm not a fan of tailgating, so I usually park a little over an hour before kickoff on river Road and walk to my seat.

They should allow general seating halfway into the 3rd or in the 4th quarter for empty seats. Allow people to move into better seats if those seats are not occupied by ticket holders. Make steps or elevator access from the upper decks to the lower bowl. This would at least encourage people in less desired seats to stay for better seats in the second half. It would also look better for those worried about the image. It may keep the lower bowl filled and nobody really sees the uppers on TV anyway.
This obviously could lead to some problems like fighting over seats, but ushers could help seat people who are wanting to move, and those leaving early from the better seats could hand off their tickets to the ushers so they can be passed on to fans who want to move.
Otherwise, make a courtesy announcement about midway through the third to encourage fans to stay and support the players till the end... at least try and guilt the traffic nannies into it.

With the new paid parking policies, why not pass out parking passes at the end of the game.
This could be done once the game is over. It could be something such as half off the next game.
Another idea would be a priority point system to have you entered into a lottery for free bowl tickets, or even a reduced price season ticket package. Just apply for a special card that gets scanned on your way out.

It's not that big of a deal to me.
Take pride in the fact you are only surrounded by a better quality fan base who share the same want to support their damn strong football team.

It's a traffic issue and traffic issue only for me.
I'll stay until then end if most everyone else does but if it starts emptying early I get out of there.
I park right next to the stadium and if I can get to my car before most everyone else gets to theirs I can get home in 12-15 minutes and watch the end of the ballgames on TV. If they get to theirs first then it can take up to 1 1/2 hours to get home. So frick that.
There most certainly are things they can do to evacuate the cars around the stadium very quickly but they do not care. It seems like the cops do whatever they can do to stay out of the way and do nothing about moving the traffic. It's as if they relish the thought of seeing all that traffic tied up since they have to work then frick everyone else.
