Houston is in the hunt for 51. But going against Bay Area and Miami(always in the hunt) is a tall order.

I put each citys chances at...

San Fran - 100%
Miami - 60%
Houston - 40%

SF is cool.

I'd like to see one in Chicago.

I think Miami's chances are going to drop like a rock because they didn't get to vote on the stadium improvements.

San Fran is getting 50 (New Stadium)

Houston is getting 51 (Upgrades to Reliant)

It's pretty much already decided, especially with the proposed changes to Miami being shot down

There was some talk about Houston's chances being null if a solution to the fate of the astrodome wasnt at least targeted.

Chicago would be great for almost every sporting event.

Unfortunatly those idiots did not put a roof over Soldier Field.

Im not mad tho. I love watching Bears games in the snow there.

I think you are right. They wanted Super Bowl L in LA, but they didn't do shite with a stadium.

I think it would be cool. I understand why players and fans wouldn't like it, though.

Based on what?

Miami hasn't upgraded their crappy old stadium. Houston has spent money on Reliant. That's what the NFL wants.

I read somewhere that the Astrodome was a point of contention in the matter. In other words they need reassurances that it will be repurposed into something, or tunred into a parking lot.

Miami is a better destination than Houston. the entertainment factor for sponsors/Execs is just as important as the game.

HTown deserves 51 but I realize that other cities will always be favored for this regardless of the advantages Houston has over them

I remember when Simmons spent 3 straight years bashing Houston from the 04 Super Bowl to the 06 NBA All Star game.

Although, he did bash New Orleans after 01 as well.
