Credit sammobile: ALL MEASUREMENTS
Credit danman 6336:
from Chad Ford's twitter:
Nerlens Noel measurements: 6'10" in socks and 6'11.5" in shoes. 7' 3.75" wingspan and a very good 9-2 standing reach. 206 lbs
KU's Ben McLemore was just 6'3.5" in socks and 6'4.75" in shoes. He does, however have a 6'7.75" wingspan.
Trey Burke. 5'11.75" in socks. 6'1.25" shoes. 6'5.5" wingspan. Good measurement for him. 8'1.5" standing reach
Victor Oladipo was even smaller at 6'3.25" in socks and 6'4.25" in shoes. His wingspan was a very long 6'9.25" however.
Otto Porter was big with a 6'7.5" in socks and 6' 8.5" in shoes measurement . He has a very big 7'1.5" wing.
CJ McCollum 6'2.25" in socks. 6'3.25" shoes. 6'6.25" wing 8'0.5" standing, smaller than burke's
Shabazz Muhammad was much smaller Measuring 6'4.75" in socks and 6'6.25" in shoes He does have a 6'11" wingspan.
Cody Zeller 6'10.75" in socks and 7'0.25" in shoes. His 6-10.75 wing and 8'10" standing reach is on the small side however.
Rudy Gobert 7'0.5" in socks and 7'2" in shoes with a crazy 7'8.5" wingspan and insane 9'7" standing reach
.Steven Adams. 6'10.75" socks. 7'0" shoes. 7'4.5" wing 9'1.5" standing reach.

Read the article. Len's already pulled out due to injury.

I don't want len. I just despise burke. I'd like porter oladipo noel bennett or mclemore.

Burke's ceiling is a ty lawson type guy. I don't see any all star potential. He's light at 180 and will still just be an average quickness pg. He's going to have a lot more trouble penetrating and passing in traffic with all that length and quickness on him. He took a lot of contested and physical shots in college which he will get blocked in the nba. He chucked a lot of 3s that he will have a hard time getting with limited quickness. I don't like his shooting form.
If we draft him, he'll be a huge liability on defensive rotations. P n roll defense is nonexistant. Him and gordon would be the smallest backcourt in the league.
I think he's got this misguided concept that he will be the next iverson, something he's retweeted on twitter a couple of times. i think he'll run a decent offense and make some highlight plays, however i don't think he's a top 5 pick pg. I question his character somewhat also.
I'd love to try rivers/vasquez out for a year and see if it pans out. We did get rivers just last year to be pg. He's a very smart and quickwitted kid. I would prefer to get a good big man on a cheap salary for the future in all honesty. Addressing sf, c, or a possible gordon replacement is a much bigger priority in my mind. Bulky Cs like len tend to be better earlier in there careers than pgs also and fade out quicker.

Yeah, Burke honestly might have a higher ceiling than anyone in the draft. It's his floor that you have to worry about
Posted on 5/15/13 at 3:10 pm to Cap Crunch
How? I don't see it. I have heard "fringe all star" as a ceiling, never heard iverson or chris paul.
Posted on 5/15/13 at 3:14 pm to MrBlue105
Did you watch him play in college? He can absolutely take over a game. Plus, not many other guys in this draft are much better than role players. I think that Burke has the best chance at being a star except for maybe McLemore and Noel
Posted on 5/15/13 at 3:43 pm to MrBlue105
He is closer to Rose than Lawson.
Posted on 5/15/13 at 3:43 pm to MrBlue105
Its more about who's available than wanting the best in the draft

I think I'm higher on Len than anyone else here, but I still think that's an absurd statement.
The real enigma to me is Porter. We tend towards liking him because we need a 3 so bad, but I'm starting to seriously cool on him. Like I said in the stickied thread, he seems to have no left hand at all (I've seen this same statement made by Georgetown fans as a reason he should go back to school). His weaknesses include ball-handling, agility, and explosiveness. This really does make him seem like kind of a tweener. On top of that, next year's draft is loaded with better SFs.

You're badly misusing the term ceiling here.

Another swing and miss. 180# is not "light" for a 6' guard entering the league. Hell, CP3 is listed at 189# and he isn't exactly Bol-esque.

I completely agree. I keep telling myself, what am I missing with this guy? He's not a scorer or dynamic playmaker...and it might take awhile for him to do that in the NBA. I mean he has great size and length...but I worry about him on offense.
At least Bennett has elite offensive potential, he's just a tweener.
I don't know.

And burke has a great ledt hand? im not misusing the term ceiling, im just very radical in my assessment of burkes flaws.

I wish I could find that highlight video from Porter that I watched the other day. Seeing him force shots with his right hand while driving left elicited a very strong "do not want" reaction in me.
