So you are reasonably loud and show up in respectable numbers when you field a competitive team?

Yeah, thats unique and all

No one ever said it was.

But, you certainly never hear about Jacksonville being able to pack out one of the largest stadiums in the League when they are competitive, so I figured I would mention it.

I think they were even pretty shitty that year as well. They did have a goofy first down chant that deserves a little mockery though.

Are you talking about when the announcer says "...good for a Jacksonvilleeeeeeeeee..." and everyone shouts "FIRST DOWNNNNNNNNN"?

Because, yeah, that's always been pretty obnoxious and embarrassing.

I wouldn't doubt there's something else that has been created in the last 5 years or so since I attended games regularly.

And Jacksonville is not a bad town at all. I've been going there on business lately, and we've hit up some great places.

The stadium is too big for the market.

Sneakers at jax beach and the riverwalk were ok. Are there other cool places? Just curious.

Someone from the Atlanta area talking about Florida's shitty fans.

That's rich.

It also included a move those chains chant repeated a couple of times and a weird grunt/noise when they said first down. You have to be real fans to participate in that. It is wave level bad.

I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see this on a board other than the Jags board. Being the least popular and getting no coverage is something I came to terms with a long time ago. But I can't stand it when people don't any research and just say "oh they have tarps. Their fans suck. Blah blah blah".

I'm living in S Fla right now due to great deal on a foreclosure and abundance of work, close proximity to inlaws when kids are born.

I'd move back up to St. Aug/Jax area in a HEARTBEAT all things being equal. I liked it exponentially more than down here.

Miami Dolphins 57,379 avg - 76% capacity - 30th place overall (dead last in capacity)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 55,102 avg - 83% capacity - 31st place overall

How are the dolphins last in capacity if a smaller amount of bucs fans takes up a larger percentage of their stadium?

The tarps are the reason they are at that capacity percentage hoss. Without the tarps they would be worse than the fins

You have no fricking clue what you're talking about.

We had pretty good fan support last season at 2-14.

Probably because Miami is a cultural icon and Tampa Bay is a beautiful area with something for everyone, while Jax is a big shitty Southern city? It's like Baton Rouge, but 5x bigger.
