legal to OC with CCL?

I was told recently that if you have your concealed carry license, you are forbidden from open carry, is this true?

I'm pretty sure you can open carry regardless of a CC permit or not. It's a right granted in the 2nd amendment.

Not sure about that but it would make sense to me if you live in an open carry state you can open carry regardless of ccl. But a ccl does not give you the option to open carry in states where open carry is not allowed.

What you have to remember is that gun laws changes state to state and sometimes city to city. Someone could tell you something true for them and be wrong for you...

It depends on your state. In LA, OC is legal without a permit. But I'm pretty sure it's always been illegal in Texas to OC a handgun.
