Farcry 3
- Terrible main character
- Absolutely zero replayability.
- Anti-climactic bosses.
Don't get me wrong, the game was fun, but it was nowhere near the greatness that some people claimed it to be.

I was bringing it up because, from what I could tell, Stout really enjoyed this game. Correct me if I am wrong.
And it was extremely repetitive.

Why do you guys even game if you poop on everything? When you are characterize FC3 like that it doesn't even sound fun.
Replying to scruffy btw.

I didn't do the side quest unless they were close enough to me that it didn't take a lot of time but after I killed Vaas it was a grind to finish the game. I was already too vested in it not to finsih.
At least it had a nice open world and other aspects to break monotony. When I first got the wing suit I must have spent 2 hours climbing mountains and gliding through the islands.
ETA I also loved the game because the multi player and the co-op are both fun

I officially need to finish this game.

I don't poop on everything. Just some things. I have games that I really like that I'm sure others wouldn't.
Its just the nature of the multiverse.

You know I'm right about the boss fights and the main character though. Dude was a huge vagina.

I completely agree that gameplay speaking that Uncharted is not amazing, but the set pieces, cinematics, and the production quality acted as your proverbial "wing suit" for me.

i remember a joyous and pure time, when people played games to have fun and because they enjoyed them, not to just "be cool" on the internet and say they played it and hated it.

I like a good story as much as the next guy but like I said I just hate the grind of Uncharted to get to that story.
Bioshock Infinite is a story driven game with great cinematics and awesome set pieces(I wish it would have been more open world but that's for another thread) but the gameplay never felt like a grind for me.
It's preference as we said but some games just find the right amount of balance to keep my attention.

No one would know who Scruffy was if he didn't constantly hate on certain games.
It makes him edgy and cool. Kinda like a virtual Fonz.

I had to quit playing it a few times for a period then go back to it just to finish.

It seems so long ago Jeff.

I got to that point on 2 and have never gone back. No desire to either.
