You're the one who was refusing to acknowledge instances and players because they weren't arrested on Miles' watch
Because they weren't on the team when they were arrested. How hard is that to understand?

Awesome thread is awesome!
Can anyone refresh my memory on what roll Jarvis Landry played in the Shadys incident? I remember him walking out of the police dept. with JJ and JJ, but I don't remember if he was only questioned and released, or if he was actually charged with anything.

Of course not...never tied to.
But you did try to argue the caliber of player arrested which was just as ridiculous.

Arrests or perception of LSU football and Miles?
If it was soley on the stat of arrests and nothing more than a number in a vacuum, I apologize. I thought you were trying to use that stat to discuss something bigger.

How does LSU compare in arrests to other SEC teams in last 3 years?
Maybe you should have actually read the thread

No, I said that LSU had "more high profile players" arrested. What I meant, probably did a bad choice of explaining, was that when comparing LSU to the other schools on the list, LSU's "problems" were to much higher profile players than the other schoosl on the list (as a group), not individually. Compared to A&M, yeah it isn't as bad, but the entire list I think makes it look worse for LSU.

But you haven't put any of the other considerations forward. It leads me to believe that you don't know what they are, you are just being argumentative for spite.
In the context of this thread, and determining which teams lack control of players, arrests are certainly the best measurement put forth.

I read the thread, but I'm pretty sure I knew where you were going and what you were trying to imply.

It's not in a vacuum.
You have an agenda. We both don't like les miles all that much, but I don't let biased perceptions get in the way.

Dammit I was the last post so I'm reposting
[Quote]I never said it was. I said his discipline problems while under Miles can not be ignored just because he wasn't arrested while playing for LSU. Then commented I don't think Miles treated that situation badly.[\quote]
That isn't what this thread is about. This tread is about comparing the number of arrests of LSU players vs the rest of the SEC.
Are there other points we could take into account? Sure but if Les and LSU are the second lowest team in this particular category then all the knee jerk reactions of "LSU is out of control" must be based on false perceptions.
After all Les keeps his players out jail better than anyone else in the SEC.

Mathieu...which he didn't consider and that was the jumping point here (we never really got past TM).

I can't figure out his argument. He's saying that the perception is that lsufbiooc, facts be damned because that is perception?

I am, the fact is the negales crowd can't ignore this fact. Most are upset these numbers were posted and can't believe other teams had more players arrested. I'm sure many of them are thankful that you are trying to widen the scope so they can continue to insist that Les has lost control.

Go dig up my anti Miles posts...I'll be waiting.
ETA - the posts where I display that I don't like him. I am not against Miles at all. I have certainly criticized him in the past, but I don't dislike him whatsoever.
